1. What is a cookie
A cookie is a small file that a website stores on your browser or device. It is used to remember information about your visit, such as your preferred language or whether you have already given your consent.
The same legal category also covers other technologies for storing and retrieving data on the user's device, such as local storage or tracking pixels.
2. Legal basis
Article 22(2) of the Spanish e-commerce act (LSSI-CE, Ley 34/2002) requires your informed consent to install cookies that are not strictly necessary.
Technical cookies that are strictly necessary to provide the service you have requested do not require consent. All others (measurement, personalisation, advertising) are only installed if you accept them, and you may withdraw your consent at any time as easily as you gave it.
3. Cookies we use
This is the inventory of cookies and similar technologies in use. It is updated whenever it changes.
rjvl_cookie_consent · strictly necessary

Measurement and analytics
Google Analytics 4, from Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), to understand in aggregate how many people visit the website, which pages they view and on what type of device, so we can improve it. It only loads if you accept the "measurement" category and never in the patient area. It sets the _ga and _ga_<identifier> cookies, which last up to 2 years. Google's advertising and signals features are switched off, and the data are never combined with health data or your account. Google may process data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You can withdraw your consent at any time from "Cookie settings" in the website footer: doing so switches measurement off and deletes these cookies.
Advertising
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, nor do we share browsing data with third parties for advertising purposes.
4. How to manage your consent
- On your first visit, we show you a panel where you can accept all, reject all, or choose by category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting.
- You can change your decision at any time via the cookie settings link available in the website footer.
- You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge and others offer this option in their privacy settings).
- If you block technical cookies, some website features may not work correctly, although the content will remain accessible.
5. Third-party cookies
Some of the services we use may install their own cookies once you give your consent. In such cases, the processing of the data collected by the third party is also governed by that party's own privacy policy, a link to which we provide in the consent panel.
We work to minimise the number of third parties involved and do not incorporate advertising tracking services.
6. Personal data and cookies
The information collected through cookies may constitute personal data. Its processing is governed by our privacy policy, where you will find the purposes, retention periods and how to exercise your rights.
Cookies are never used to infer or store health data.
7. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy whenever the cookies used or the applicable regulations change. The current version, with its date, will always be published on this page.
