Facial contouring with jawline, chin and cheekbone filler is a set of aesthetic medicine procedures that define and balance the structural lines of the face: the jaw angle and edge, chin projection, cheekbone height, and the transition between them. The goal is definition, correcting asymmetries and balancing proportions, not changing the identity of the face.
Over time, facial contour loses sharpness: bone and deep tissue remodel, volume descends, and lines that were once clean begin to blur. In other cases, genetics gives a softer contour from a young age. Either way, contouring aims to restore or add structure in a harmonious way.
The most common tool is a high-projection hyaluronic acid, infiltrated in deep planes to give support where it is needed. It is a resorbable material and, in most indications, largely reversible, which adds a meaningful safety margin. In some cases the plan combines biostimulation or devices to also work the firmness of the skin covering that contour.
