What we do
Facial and body treatments, inside a medical clinic
They are chosen after looking at your skin or the area to treat, not sold as a package: we tell you what makes sense and how many sessions.
How your visit goes
Four steps, and the first is not a treatment.
The same steps whatever the treatment. Nothing is decided for you, and nothing is done on day one unless it is indicated.
- 01
Consultation
We look at your skin or the area to be treated, listen to what concerns you and review your history and any contraindications. That is where the plan comes from.
- 02
Session plan
A plan with the number of sessions, the frequency and what to expect from each one. No closed packages before we know the treatment suits you.
- 03
Treatment
Treatment-room sessions with professional technology and defined protocols. Each one is recorded in your file.
- 04
Maintenance
What sustains the result: a home care routine and maintenance sessions at whatever frequency fits.
Definition
What advanced aesthetics is and how it differs from aesthetic medicine
- 01
Wellness is Rejuvelook's advanced aesthetics: facial and body treatments with professional technology, in Fuengirola.
- 02
It is not a medical act: nothing is injected or prescribed, which is why some things are referred to the consulting room.
- 03
It works by accumulation: the session plan and the maintenance are part of the result.
- 04
The consultation comes first and commits you to nothing: we look before we propose.
- 05
Being inside a medical clinic is the difference: whoever treats you knows when a doctor should see it.
It is professional care of the skin and body using technology and manual technique: cleansing, exfoliation, radiofrequency, intense pulsed light, microneedling, pressotherapy, body contouring and massage. It is not a medical act: nothing is injected, nothing is prescribed, and nothing crosses the line that requires a doctor.
The difference from aesthetic medicine is not quality, it is the tool. Advanced aesthetics works on the surface and on tone, and it does a great deal for how you look and how you feel. When what lies underneath calls for medical judgement, the consulting room is a few metres away and you do not have to start again somewhere else.
That is the real advantage of doing this inside a clinic: the person treating you knows when an aesthetic treatment is the right call and when what you are looking at should be seen by a doctor first.
It's for you if
- You want to look after your skin regularly, not only when a problem shows up.
- You are after visible results without invasive procedures or needles.
- You want to prepare your skin before a medical treatment, or care for it afterwards.
- You are interested in working on firmness, tone or fluid retention with professional technology.
- You would rather be treated inside a clinic by someone who knows when to refer you.
It may not be right if
- You are after a structural change to your face or contour: that is aesthetic medicine or surgery, not advanced aesthetics.
- You have a skin lesion and do not know what it is: a doctor looks at that first.
- You are in the middle of an active dermatological flare-up: that is best treated first.
- You expect permanent results from a single session: advanced aesthetics works by accumulation and maintenance.
Consistency is what counts: most advanced aesthetics techniques work by accumulation, and a one-off session delivers far less than a plan sustained over time.
Preparing the skin before a medical treatment and caring for it afterwards improves both the experience and the recovery.
Results depend on the starting point of each skin and each body. That is why the first appointment is a consultation, not a package sale.
No device replaces habits: rest, sun protection, nutrition and activity remain the foundation.
Safety
What to bear in mind and who should hold off
Advanced aesthetics is low risk, but not zero risk. Intense pulsed light and some techniques call for caution with tanned skin, certain skin types and some photosensitising medication. Radiofrequency and diathermy are not applied over metal implants, pacemakers or during pregnancy. Microneedling is not performed on skin with an active infection. All of this is reviewed at the consultation, before anyone touches you, not afterwards. If something you bring in needs a medical opinion, we say so and refer you.
Notice
The information on this page is general and educational. It can guide you, but it does not diagnose or prescribe: it does not replace a medical consultation.
What is the difference between advanced aesthetics and aesthetic medicine?
The tool. Advanced aesthetics works with technology and manual technique on the skin and body, without injections or prescriptions. Aesthetic medicine is a medical act and includes techniques only a doctor can perform. At Rejuvelook both live in the same centre, so moving from one to the other does not mean starting over.
Was this the beauty centre?
Yes. Same service, with the name and structure of the new site. The old addresses still work and lead here.
Do I need a consultation first?
Yes, and it is the first thing we do. We look at the area, check contraindications and tell you what makes sense. Selling a package before looking is how people end up paying for sessions that do nothing for them.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the treatment and your starting point. Most techniques work by accumulation, so they are planned as a course of several sessions at a defined frequency, followed by maintenance.
Does it hurt?
Generally no. Some techniques produce heat or a mild prickling, and that is explained before we start. If anything becomes uncomfortable, the intensity is adjusted.
Can I have a facial treatment if I am tanned?
It depends which one. Intense pulsed light and some techniques require waiting for the tan to fade. It is assessed in consultation before booking the session.
Is it safe during pregnancy?
Some treatments yes, others no. Radiofrequency, diathermy and certain body techniques are contraindicated. Tell us at the consultation and we will tell you what you can have.
Where are you?
In Fuengirola, Málaga, on the Costa del Sol. Advanced aesthetics and the medical consulting rooms are in the same centre.
Do you offer body treatments for fluid retention?
Yes, pressotherapy works specifically on that and can be combined with other techniques depending on the case. We assess first to rule out causes worth looking at beforehand.
Can I combine it with a medical treatment?
Often that is the ideal: preparing the skin beforehand and caring for it afterwards improves the result. The schedule is set by whoever treats you, coordinated with the consulting room.
