How your visit goes
The same steps whatever the treatment. Nothing is decided for you, and nothing is done on day one unless it is indicated.
We study your scalp and shedding pattern with imaging, your history and, when relevant, blood tests. Good treatment starts with a diagnosis.
Your doctor identifies the likely cause and which options make sense for you: mesotherapy, cell therapy, indicated medication or, if relevant, a transplant.
A clear roadmap with goals and a timeline. Follow-up and prescribed treatment happen online anywhere in Spain; mesotherapy, cell therapy and transplants take place at our Fuengirola clinic.
Progress photos and check-ins to track density and hair quality over time, and adjust the plan with you.
Definition
Acting early is what changes the outlook most: a follicle that still responds is easier to treat than one already lost.
A good result starts with a trichology diagnosis, not a randomly chosen product.
Mesotherapy and PRP are useful supporting treatments within a plan, with results varying by protocol.
FUE transplant delivers natural results when the indication and design are right.
Female hair loss has its own patterns and deserves its own approach.
Hair loss isn't a minor cosmetic issue: it's a signal. Behind it can be genetics, hormones, nutrition, stress or general health. Taking a medical approach means starting with a trichology diagnosis, the study of the scalp and follicle, today supported by imaging and photography, rather than reaching for a random product.
At Rejuvelook we treat hair as part of your health and the way you age. The goal isn't to sell a treatment, it's to identify the cause and offer what can genuinely help you, at the moment it still works best: early.
It's for you if
It may not be right if
The earlier pattern hair loss, the most common progressive type, is addressed, the better the response tends to be: a miniaturised follicle responds better than one already lost.
Hair mesotherapy delivers active ingredients into the scalp to improve the follicle's environment; the evidence favours it as a supporting treatment within a plan, with results varying by protocol.
Platelet-rich plasma and growth-factor therapies show promising results in stimulating the follicle, although protocols aren't yet fully standardised.
FUE transplant is an established surgical technique for redistributing a patient's own follicles into areas of loss, with natural results when the indication and design are right.
Safety
Minimally invasive hair treatments, such as mesotherapy or PRP, are generally well tolerated: common effects are mild and local, such as tenderness, redness or small bruises on the scalp. FUE transplant, being a surgical technique, carries its own risks and a recovery period your doctor explains beforehand. Where medication is considered, it's prescribed only under medical indication, with its possible side effects and follow-up checks. Certain situations, such as pregnancy, breastfeeding, some scalp conditions or clotting disorders, rule out or modify some techniques.
Notice
The information on this page is general and educational. It can guide you, but it does not diagnose or prescribe: it does not replace a medical consultation.
Real cases
There are several possible causes: genetics (pattern hair loss), hormones, nutrition, stress, illness or one-off changes. Only a trichology diagnosis can tell you which applies to you, and therefore which treatment makes sense.
In many cases, yes, especially if you act early. Stopping the loss and keeping what you have is usually more realistic and valuable than chasing a full recovery. The diagnosis defines what's achievable in your case.
It's a medical study of your scalp and follicle, today also supported by imaging and photography, together with your history and, when relevant, blood tests. It's the basis for treating you with judgement and for measuring progress afterwards.
It's a useful supporting treatment within a plan: it delivers active ingredients into the scalp to improve the follicle's environment. Results vary by protocol and by case.
Platelet-rich plasma uses your own growth factors to stimulate the follicle. The evidence is promising, though protocols aren't yet fully standardised. Your doctor assesses whether it fits your plan.
Not always. A transplant is considered once the cause has been studied and there are areas where the follicle is no longer viable and worth repopulating. Shedding needs to be stabilised first: a transplant on top of uncontrolled active hair loss gives poor results.
It is a surgical technique that moves your own follicles from donor areas to areas of loss, giving natural results when the design is right. It is done at our Fuengirola clinic and, if you are travelling in, arranged as a retreat.
Yes, with its own approach. Female hair loss has particular patterns and causes, hormonal, nutritional, thyroid-related and others, that are worth studying. Many women notice density changes that can be addressed.
Diagnosis, reviews and prescribed treatment take place by video call from anywhere in Spain, using photos you take following our guidance. Mesotherapy, cell therapy and transplants are done at our Fuengirola clinic.
Only if it is indicated. If so, you receive a private e-prescription that any pharmacy in Spain can dispense; you pay for the medication at the pharmacy.
Your reviews continue by video call wherever you are. Our prescriptions are dispensed in Spanish pharmacies, so if you will be away we plan it with you before you travel.
You see the consultation fee before you pay anything. If a follow-up plan makes sense, you get its price in writing and decide in your own time. Lab tests and medication, when indicated, are paid separately, directly to the lab and the pharmacy.
Hair works on slow cycles: changes are usually assessed from three to six months onward, which is why photo follow-up matters so much. Patience and consistency are part of the treatment.
