What it is
A symptom with a cause, that deserves more than a pill
Erectile dysfunction is the persistent difficulty in achieving or maintaining an erection sufficient for satisfactory sexual activity. It's a common reason to see a doctor from midlife onwards, and not something to minimise or manage on your own.
It's often an early marker of cardiovascular risk: the same fine vessels that fail during an erection can foreshadow problems in larger vessels, including the heart. Its causes tend to be mixed, vascular, metabolic, hormonal or psychological, so there's rarely a single explanation.
At Rejuvelook we start by understanding the cause, not by treating only the symptom. That means taking your history, assessing cardiovascular risk factors and, when relevant, blood tests, before any discussion of medication.
Who it's for
It may make sense if…
- You're noticing persistent changes in your erectile function and want to understand the cause, not just relieve the symptom.
- You'd rather have a serious diagnosis, with medical judgement, before considering any medication.
- You value discretion and want to sort it out with a doctor, without exposure.
- You want to use this signal as a reason to check your broader cardiovascular and metabolic health.
The doctor decides whether it is indicated at the consultation.
The process
How it goes, step by step.
- 01
Medical consultation
We gather your history, risk factors and symptom pattern, with complete confidentiality.
- 02
Studying the cause
When relevant, we assess the vascular, metabolic, hormonal and psychological components behind the symptom.
- 03
Medical judgement
Your doctor explains which options make sense: lifestyle changes, medication under medical indication, or referral.
- 04
Follow-up
We review your progress and, if there's treatment, its monitoring, with discretion throughout.
Safety
Risks, and when and when we would not recommend it
Self-medicating in this area is especially risky: medication indicated for erectile dysfunction has important contraindications, for example when combined with certain heart medications, and should only be used under medical indication. If you have cardiovascular warning symptoms, such as chest pain, the priority is immediate medical attention, not this programme. Products bought outside a medical setting are a frequent source of problems.

Is erectile dysfunction treated with medication alone?
It shouldn't be. Medication can help, but treating only the symptom leaves the cause unresolved. A good approach studies the origin, vascular, metabolic, hormonal or psychological, and acts on it, alongside improving habits.
Is it a sign of another health problem?
It can be. It's often an early marker of cardiovascular risk, because it affects the finest vessels first. That's why it's worth not ignoring: it's an opportunity to detect and prevent early.
Is it normal for this to appear with age?
It's common, but common doesn't mean you have to accept it or that there's no treatable cause. It's worth studying: sometimes there's a vascular, metabolic or hormonal reason behind it that can be addressed.
What if my issue is more psychological?
It's a common cause and not a minor one. Emotional factors and stress play a real role. We assess it with the same rigour and, where relevant, coordinate the right approach.
Is everything confidential?
Discretion is part of the service. Your health data is handled with reinforced confidentiality and explicit consent. You can sort out your case with a doctor without exposure.
Is everything done online?
Yes, the consultation and follow-up happen by video call, wherever you live in Spain. If your case needs a specific in-person exam, we'll point you towards it.
How much does it cost?
You see the consultation fee before you pay anything. If a follow-up plan makes sense, you get its price in writing and decide in your own time. Lab tests and medication, when indicated, are paid separately, directly to the lab and the pharmacy.
Will you prescribe medication for me?
Only if it's indicated for your case, after diagnosis and with follow-up. Medication, when relevant, is prescribed with monitoring and billed separately from the programme. We don't choose it by trend or sell it without judgement.
