What it is
Caring for skin in a sustained way
Advanced aesthetics facial treatments work on the surface of the skin and on its tone: they cleanse, exfoliate, stimulate and tighten. Nothing is injected or prescribed, so they are not a medical act; what they do is improve the condition and appearance of the skin with professional technique and technology.
They are built for consistency. A single session shows, but what changes a skin is the plan: sessions at a defined frequency with home care alongside them. Anyone promising otherwise is selling, not treating.
They take place inside a medical clinic, which means the person treating you knows when an aesthetic treatment is the right call and when what you are looking at should be seen by a doctor first.
Who it's for
It may make sense if…
- You want a deep cleanse and brighter skin, with a plan that holds.
- Your skin looks dull, uneven in texture or with visible pores.
- You are after firmness and tightening without invasive procedures.
- You want to prepare your skin before a medical treatment, or care for it afterwards.
- You would rather be told which technique suits you than pick from a menu.
The doctor decides whether it is indicated at the consultation.
The process
How it goes, step by step.
- 01
Consultation
We look at your skin, listen to what concerns you and review your history and contraindications (recent tanning, photosensitising medication, pregnancy, implants).
- 02
Choosing the technique
The consultation decides which treatment makes sense and which does not. Sometimes the answer is to start with the basics and see how the skin responds.
- 03
Session plan
Number of sessions, frequency and what to expect from each. No packages closed before we know it suits you.
- 04
Maintenance
A home care routine and maintenance sessions. That is what sustains the result.
Safety
What to bear in mind before booking
These are low-risk techniques, but not zero-risk. Intense pulsed light calls for caution with tanned skin, certain skin types and some photosensitising medication. Radiofrequency and diathermy are not applied over metal implants, pacemakers or during pregnancy. Microneedling is not performed on skin with an active infection or on undiagnosed lesions. All of this is reviewed at the consultation. If something you bring in needs a medical opinion, we say so and refer you to the consulting room.

Which facial treatments do you offer?
Basic cleansing, deep cleansing with a diamond tip and peeling, dermapen (microneedling), diathermy, IPL (intense pulsed light) and facial radiofrequency. Which one suits you comes out of the consultation.
What is deep cleansing with a diamond tip?
It is a mechanical exfoliation that lifts dead cells and impurities with a diamond tip, usually combined with a peel. It leaves the skin smoother and more receptive to what follows.
What is HIFU for?
Microfocused ultrasound acts at depth, aiming for progressive tightening that builds over the following weeks. If it interests you, we tell you at your consultation whether it makes sense in your case.
What does dermapen do?
It performs controlled micro-punctures in the skin to stimulate renewal. It is planned in sessions and is not performed on skin with an active infection.
Are facial radiofrequency and diathermy the same?
They belong to the same family: they apply energy that heats the tissue, aiming for firmness and elasticity. The indication and the settings change with the area and the goal.
Can I have IPL if I am tanned?
It is not advisable. Intense pulsed light requires waiting for the tan to fade, because the risk of pigmentation changes increases. It is assessed before booking the session.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the technique and on your skin's starting point. Most are planned as a course of several sessions at a defined frequency, followed by maintenance.
Is this aesthetic medicine?
No. Nothing here is injected or prescribed. When what you want requires a medical act, the consulting room is in the same centre and it is coordinated.
Where do the treatments take place?
At our clinic in Fuengirola, Málaga, on the Costa del Sol.
