What it is

Controlled warmth that wakes the skin up

INDIBA is a radiofrequency system that works at 448 kHz. An electrode glides over the skin and gently, steadily warms the tissues, improving circulation and stimulating the body's own repair processes, including collagen production.

On the face it is used to improve firmness, texture and radiance. On the body, for areas with laxity, the look of skin with cellulite and tissue recovery, for example after pregnancy. The session is comfortable, often relaxing, and you can get on with your day straight afterwards.

Its results are gradual and moderate, and depend on a course of several sessions. It does not replace a filler or surgery, and it works best as part of a plan. That is why we start with a consultation to see whether it is what your skin needs.

Who it's for

It may make sense if…

  • The skin on your face or body feels less firm or its texture has changed.
  • You want a treatment with no needles and no recovery time.
  • You would like to improve your skin after a pregnancy or a change in weight.
  • You are interested in a course of sessions as part of a wider skin plan.

The doctor decides whether it is indicated at the consultation.

The process

How it goes, step by step.

  1. 01

    Consultation

We look at the area, the quality of your skin and what you expect, and rule out contraindications.

  2. 02

    Course

We suggest the number of sessions and how often, usually once a week.

  3. 03

    Sessions

About 45 minutes of treatment, with a pleasant feeling of warmth.

  4. 04

    Follow-up

We compare photographs at the end of the course and discuss whether maintenance makes sense.

Safety

Risks of radiofrequency and when we would not recommend it

It is a well-tolerated treatment. There may be some temporary redness in the area and, rarely, a feeling of too much heat if the skin is very sensitive, so the intensity is adjusted during the session. We do not recommend it if you have a pacemaker or another implanted electronic device, during pregnancy, with metal implants in the area to be treated, with active cancer, thrombosis or an infection in the area.
