What it is

Mesotherapy delivers active ingredients exactly where they're needed

Hair loss mesotherapy means delivering, through superficial microinjections into the scalp, active ingredients aimed at improving the environment the follicle lives in: its nutrition, its blood supply and the local conditions that influence the hair cycle.

The idea behind it is simple: deliver the active exactly where it's needed, in small amounts and locally. It's not a treatment that creates new hair from nothing, it offers a follicle that still responds better conditions to keep going.

At Rejuvelook we treat it as what it is: a supporting treatment. It pays off when it's part of a plan that starts by understanding why your hair is falling out, not when it's applied blindly as a single solution.

Who it's for

It may make sense if…

  • You have pattern hair loss in an early or intermediate stage, with a follicle that's still viable, and want to support its maintenance.
  • You're noticing loss of density or thickness and want to add a supporting treatment to your plan, not replace it.
  • You'd rather the indication and the areas treated come from a diagnosis, not a fixed package.
  • You accept that hair works on slow cycles and that consistency is part of the treatment.

The doctor decides whether it is indicated at the consultation.

The process

How it goes, step by step.

  1. 01

    Diagnosis first

Before proposing anything, we study your scalp and your shedding pattern. Mesotherapy is only suggested if the diagnosis supports it.

  2. 02

    Medical indication

Your doctor decides whether it fits your case, which areas to treat and how it integrates with the rest of the plan.

  3. 03

    Application

Microinjection sessions take place at our Fuengirola clinic, spaced out according to your plan.

  4. 04

    Follow-up

Progress photos and check-ins to track density over time and adjust the plan.

Safety

Risks of hair loss mesotherapy and when we would not recommend it

Hair mesotherapy is, in general, a minimally invasive and well-tolerated technique. Common effects are mild and local: discomfort during the session, redness, tenderness or small bruises that resolve on their own within days. As with any technique that breaks the skin, there's a small risk of infection or local reaction. It isn't recommended, or needs careful assessment, in cases of active scalp infection or inflammation, certain skin conditions, clotting disorders or medication that affects bleeding, known allergy to any component, pregnancy and breastfeeding. No session begins without a prior diagnosis that rules these situations out.

Questions

What people ask before the first appointment.

Another question? Message us on WhatsApp.

What exactly is hair mesotherapy?

It's the delivery of active ingredients through superficial microinjections into the scalp, in the areas where the diagnosis detects loss of density. It's used as a supporting treatment within a plan.

Does hair mesotherapy actually work?

The evidence favours it as a supporting treatment, though it's mixed: results vary by protocol, actives and how outcomes are measured. It works best within a plan and with a viable follicle.

Does it hurt?

It's usually a mild, tolerable discomfort typical of superficial microinjections. Sensitivity varies from person to person and by area. The technique is designed to be quick and well tolerated.

How many sessions do I need?

It depends on your diagnosis and your plan; mesotherapy is applied in spaced-out sessions, not a single one. Your doctor sets the number and rhythm based on your response.
